  • 4 dozen
  • 1 tsp Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 cup warm Water
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1-1/2 cups Flour
  • Fat for frying
  • Honey
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

    Dissolve yeast in warm water.

    Beat eggs and add sugar and salt.

    Add flour alternately with water and yeast. Beat well.

  4. 4

    Cover and let rise for 2 hours.

    Drop by tsp in 375° fat, turning to brown evenly.

  6. 6

    Drain on absorbent paper.

  7. 7

    Dip in warmed honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.

  8. 8

    May warm in oven before dipping in honey.
