Pork Chop Casserole
Classic layered pork chop casserole with potatoes, onions and cream of mushroom soup. Slow-baked until the chops are fork-tender and the potatoes are creamy.

- 6 large pork chops
- 6 medium potatoes, sliced
- 3 medium onions, sliced
- 10 0.8 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 0.3 cup water
- 0 salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium green bell pepper, sliced
Instructions

Brown pork chops in a skillet.

Place alternating layers of pork chops, potatoes and onions in a baking dish; season each layer.

After first complete layer, pour half the soup over the top. Layer again and season.

Pour remaining soup over, then the water. Season. Bake covered at 350°F for 1 to 1½ hours.

Alternative: Layer the same way in a crockpot. Cook on low 6-8 hours or high 3½ hours.
