Parmesan Popovers
Light and airy popovers with a crispy exterior, made with a layer of Parmesan in each cup for extra flavor.
Ingredients
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 3 tbsp melted butter
- 1 cup flour
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F. Butter well 9 three-inch muffin cups.

With mixer at low speed, beat eggs slightly; beat in milk and melted butter. Gradually beat in flour and salt.

Place a spoonful of Parmesan in each muffin cup, dividing evenly. Pour batter over the cheese, dividing evenly.

Bake popovers 40 minutes, then remove from oven. Quickly cut a slit in the side of each to release steam.

Return to oven for 10 minutes until tops are very firm, crisp, and brown. Immediately remove from pan and serve.
