White Clam Sauce

- 2 can minced clams (7.5 oz each)
- 4 clove garlic, minced or chopped
- 0.3 cup butter or margarine
- 0.3 cup olive oil
- 3 tbsp chopped parsley
- 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 lb spaghetti or other pasta
Instructions

Drain clams, saving 3/4 cup clam juices. Set aside.

In a skillet, slowly heat the olive oil and butter. Add garlic and sauté until golden.

Remove from heat. Stir in clam liquid, add parsley and salt, and bring to a boil.

Reduce heat; simmer uncovered 10 minutes.

Add clams and simmer 3 minutes longer.

Cook pasta according to package directions and drain.

Serve clam sauce hot over cooked spaghetti and top with Parmesan cheese.
