Popeye's Biscuits
Copycat Popeye's ultra-tender, fluffy biscuits made with Bisquick, sour cream, and club soda — buttered generously in a casserole dish for that signature golden sheen.

- 4 cup Bisquick baking mix
- 4 oz sour cream
- 1 cup club soda, room temperature and well-carbonated
- 0.5 cup margarine or butter, melted

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Mix Bisquick, sour cream, and club soda together until combined. Pour onto a floured surface and knead very lightly.

Roll dough out to about ½-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.

Pour half the melted butter into a glass casserole dish. Place biscuits in dish and pour remaining butter over the tops.

Bake 20–25 minutes at 375°F until golden brown. Serve hot.
