Entire Wheat Griddle−cakes

  • 0.5 cup entire
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 0.8 cup milk
  • wheat flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 3 teaspoons baking
  • powder

Instructions

    In a mixing bowl combine whole wheat flour, wheat germ, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

    In another mixing bowl combine eggs, buttermilk, butter, and vanilla.

    Add to the flour mixture.

    Add the dry ingredients and beat until smooth.

  5. 5

    Cover the batter and let it rest for 15 minutes.

    Bake on a hot griddle or in a large pan.

  7. 7

    Finish off the griddle cakes in the oven for a few minutes.

  8. 8

    Let the griddle cakes cool to room temperature on a wire rack.
