  • 4 cup biscuit mix (such as Bisquick)
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 1 cup club soda (room temperature, full fizz)
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

    Mix biscuit mix, sour cream, and club soda together until just combined — do not overmix.

    Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead very lightly 3–4 times.

    Roll out to about ½-inch thickness and cut with a biscuit cutter.

    Pour half the melted butter into a glass casserole dish. Place biscuits in dish; pour remaining butter over the tops.

    Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

    Serve warm with butter, jam, or sausage gravy.
