Sourdough Pancakes Drop Cakes

  • 2 cup sourdough starter 1 egg, beaten, see entry
  • 2 cup lukewarm water 1 tbs sugar
  • 2 0.5 cup flour 1 pint milk
  • tbs sugar
  • 1/
  • 8 tsp salt
  • evaporated milk
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt Enough flour to make a stiff dough
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp sugar Mix ingredients well and drop by teaspoons into hot
  • oil. Roll in powdered sugar after browning.
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 1/2 cups flour

    Combine first three ingredients in large pot, cover

    and let stand overnight. Add remaining ingredients,

    let stand 5minutes, then ladle onto ROLLED OATS GRIDDLE CAKES

    hot griddle and enjoy.
