Sourdough Apple Pancakes

A bread recipe for Sourdough Apple Pancakes.

  • 2 c Starter
  • 1 tb Sugar
  • 2 tb Butter; melted
  • 1 Egg; beaten
  • 1/2 c Applesauce
  • 1/2 ts Baking soda
  • Salt
  • White flour

Instructions

  1. 1

    add egg, applesauce, melted butter, sugar and salt to the starter and mix briefly

  2. 2

    Add flour to attain desired consistency mix until lump free

  3. 3

    Just before baking dissolve baking soda in a tablespoon of water and gently blend with the batter

  4. 4

    pour 2 to 3 inch rounds on a hot (400) griddle

  5. 5

    Cook 2 to 4 minutes and turn for an additional 2 minutes
