  • 2 T olive or vegetable oil
  • One 7-oz bag star shaped pasta
  • 1 cube tomato/chicken bullion
  • 4 cups water

    Heat oil in a large, deep skillet.

    Pour in pasta, stirring gently but constantly until golden brown.

    Pour in water.

    Break a cube of bouillon into pieces and scatter in the skillet.

    Bring water to boil, stirring occasionally so that the bouillon is dissolved completely.

    Cook for 7 to 10 minutes on high heat, so that most of the liquid boils out.

    Stir occasionally to mix the bouillon evenly.

    Serve warm with meat dish, tortillas, and pinto beans, if desired.
