Simple Corn Chowder
The simplest corn chowder — potatoes and onion boiled in their cooking liquid with two kinds of canned corn, finished with butter and milk.

- 15 oz large can creamed corn
- 12 oz can whole kernel corn (nibblets)
- 2 whole medium potatoes
- 1 whole medium onion
- 1 cup milk, to taste
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook potatoes and onion in boiling water in a saucepan until tender.

Do not drain — keep the cooking liquid.

Add both cans of corn and continue heating until warm.

Put a pat of butter in your bowl and ladle in hot soup.

Add milk, salt, and pepper to taste.
