- 1 pint half and half
- 10 oz grated carrots (approximately 250 g)
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup cashew pieces
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter ( approximately 4 tablespoons)

Heat the half and half in a heavy bottomed saucepan to boiling and add the grated carrots, raisins and sugar.

Boil the mixture till the liquid is reduced to 1/10th of the original amount.

Melt butter in a frying pan and fry the cashew pieces.

Mix well and serve hot.
