  • 1 cup Dates, chopped
  • 1 tsp Soda
  • 1-1/4 cups boiling Water
  • 3/4 cup Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1-1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped Nuts
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Chocolate Chips

Instructions

    Combine dates, soda and boiling water--cool.

    Cream butter and sugar.

  3. 3

    Add eggs, flour, vanilla, salt and date mix.

  4. 4

    Pour into greased pan .

  5. 5

    Bake for 30 minutes at 350°.
