Clam and Tomato Bisque

  • 2 cup cream
  • 5 0.5 cup cold
  • 1 cup stewed and
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • water
  • strained tomatoes
  • 1/3 flour
  • 1/3 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 onion

Instructions

    Melt the butter in a large ceramic pot with high sides.

    In a large saucepan, saute chopped onion in butter.

    Stir in flour slowly and cook, stirring constantly, just until bubbly.

    Combine 1 can of tomato soup and 1 can of minced clams, using the juice of the clams for liquid.

    Add salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
