  • 6 oz Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Tbsp Water
  • 1 Tbsp Vanilla
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Soda
  • 1/2 cup Shortening
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 24 large Marshmallows, frozen

Instructions

    Melt chocolate chips, water and vanilla. Remove from heat.

    Sift flour, salt, and soda together.

  3. 3

    Blend shortening, brown sugar and egg.

  4. 4

    Add dry ingredients and chocolate mix.

  5. 5

    Using 1 Tbsp dough (flatten and press around marshmallow).

  6. 6

    Place on cookie sheet about 3 inches part.

  7. 7

    Bake about 8 minutes at 350°-cookies crack and marshmallows shown through.
