CHEDDAR BISCUITS
A bread recipe for Cheddar Biscuits.

- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp dry mustard
- 1/3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1/4 cups margarine, softened

In medium pot, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, baking soda, salt, dry mustard. Cut in margarine with pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse meal.

Stir in cheese and buttermilk.

On lightly floured surface, roll dough to 1/2in thick.

Use 2in biscuit cutter and cut into rounds.

Keep rolling and cutting until all dough is used.

Place on greased cookie sheet.

Bake in cardboard oven at 450 until tops are light brown.
