California Seared Chicken
A Blackstone griddle recipe for California Seared Chicken.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Sea salt
- Black pepper, fresh ground
- 4 slices fresh mozzarella cheese
- 4 slices avocado
- 4 slices beefsteak tomato
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
Instructions

Whisk together balsamic vinegar, honey, olive oil, oregano, basil and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl.

Add chicken to coat and marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Preheat griddle to medium-high. Sear chicken for 7 minutes per side, or until a meat thermometer reaches 165°F.

Top each chicken breast with mozzarella, avocado, and tomato and tent with foil on the griddle to melt for 2 minutes.

Garnish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze, and a pinch of sea salt and black pepper.
