Cajunized Oriental Pork Chops

A traditional Cajun recipe for Cajunized Oriental Pork Chops.

  • 6 Thick pork chops
  • Salt & red cayenne pepper
  • 1-1/2 Cup Dry white wine
  • 1 Cup Bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 Cup Onions, chopped
  • 1 Clove garlic, chopped
  • 3 Tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 Can Pineapple chunks [15 oz.]

Instructions

    Salt and red pepper the chops.

    Brown them slowly in a skillet.

  3. 3

    Add wine, bell pepper, onion, and garlic, Cover and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.

    Remove pork chops, being sure to keep them warm.

  5. 5

    Add the soy sauce and syrup from the pineapple. Stir and simmer until more or less thick.

  6. 6

    Add the pineapple chunks and bring to a boil.

  7. 7

    Serve over pork chops and hot cooked rice.
