- 5 0.5 cup scalded milk
- 0.5 cup flour
- bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon
- salt

Add milk and butter to crumbs and soak until crumbs are soft.

Make the batter.

Cover the batter and let it rest for 15 minutes.

Bake on a hot griddle or in a large pan.

Finish off in the oven for a few minutes to ensure the center and sides are fully cooked.

Let the griddle cakes cool to room temperature on a wire rack.
