Banana-Date Muffins

  • 1 0.8 cup flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • sugar
  • 2 cup plus 1 tbs flour
  • 0.5 tsp baking soda 2 tbs baking powder
  • salt

  • dry mustard

  • shredded cheddar cheese

  • 2 cup sugar
  • buttermilk
  • 1/
  • 2 cup margarine, softened
  • 0.3 cup margarine, softened 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • baking soda, salt, dry mustard. Cut in margarine 3/4 cups Wheaties, crushed
  • with pastry cutter until mixture resembles coarse 12 diced pitted dates
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder

    In medium pot, combine flour, baking powder, sugar, 3 medium bananas, mashed

    slowly, mixing well. Add dates and Wheaties. Mix

    well. Spoon into muffin cups. Bake in cardboard

    BLUEBERRY BRAN MUFFINS oven at 400 for 20 minutes or until brown. Serve
