Baked French Toast

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 Tbs. corn syrup
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
  • 1 loaf of French Bread, sliced

Instructions

    Heat brown sugar, margarine and syrup until melted together.

    Pour into 13x9 pan.

    Arrange bread in a single layer in pan.

  4. 4

    Beat eggs, add milk and sugar, pour over the bread.

  5. 5

    Cover and refrigerate overnight.

  6. 6

    Remove cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

  7. 7

    Let set 5 minutes before serving.
