  • 2-1/2 Cups Flour
  • 2 Sticks Margarine
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 4 Tbsp. Sour Cream
  • 6 to 8 Apples (sliced)
  • 1-1/2 Cups Sugar
  • 1/2 Tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Cup Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • Lemon Juice
  • 1 Egg White, (Lightly beaten)

Instructions

    Cut margarine into flour.

    Mix egg yolks with sour cream and add to flour-mix well.

  3. 3

    Roll out 2/3 of dough to fit glass pan.

    Sprinkle crumbs on bottom.

  5. 5

    Add sugar to apples and place in pan.

  6. 6

    Dot with butter and lemon juice.

  7. 7

    Roll out remaining dough to fit top.

  8. 8

    Refrigerate overnight if desired-better if eaten fresh.

    When ready to bake, slit top-brush with egg white and sprinkle with sugar.

    Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 35 minutes.
