  • 1 lb. fresh green beans
  • 2 tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped coarsely
  • 5 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4 large tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 1/2 cup pitted olives
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tbsp. fresh ground pepper

    Steam green beans until crisp tender (about 5 minutes)

    Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat

  3. 3

    Add onion and garlic. Saute for 5 minutes

    Add tomatoes and wine. Cook for 20 minutes

    Add olives and beans and heat through

  6. 6

    Sprinkle with lemon juice and pepper
