  • 3 cup sugar (could substitute apple
  • juice)
  • 1 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/4 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. cloves

    Peel, quarter, and core enough apples to fill a crock pot within 1 inch from

    the top (approximately one gallon). Add ingredients. Cook all night on low

    heat. Fill sterilized jars and seal. Makes about 4 pints.
