- 1 0.5 lb ground chuck
- 0.8 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1 sm. onion, diced
- 1 egg
- 1 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.8 tsp pepper
- 1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix (or mix
- 1 tbsp flour
- 0.8 tsp salt
- Dash of pepper
- 1 to 2 lbs. stew meat
- 1 can tomato soup, 10 1/2 oz.
- 1 can water, 1 1/4 c.
- 1 can cranberry jelly sauce
- 1 bottle chili sauce
- Onion, chopped (to taste)
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 4 med. potatoes, pared & cubed
- 3 med. carrots, cut in 1 inch pieces
- 1/4 c. dry red wine or water

Mix all ingredients above and form into balls. Brown in oven at 350 degrees

for approximately 30 minutes. Place balls into crock pot on low. --SAUCE:--

Simmer on top of stove until melted together. Pour sauce over meatballs. Slow

cook for 2 to 3 hours.

Meat can be browned or just added raw. Mix soup, water, basil, salt, pepper

and onion. Add meat, potatoes, and carrots. Bake at 375 degrees for 2 1/2 to 3

hours or put in crockpot on high for about 6 to 8 hours. Makes about 4 to 5
